On May 16, members of the Hattiesburg Hundred honored officers from the Forrest County Sheriff's Office, Hattiesburg Fire Department, Forrest General Hospital Police Department, Hattiesburg City Police, Lamar County Sheriff's Department, Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop J, and The University of Southern Mississippi Police Department to thank them for their service. Hattiesburg Police Department- Ricardo Taplin Ricardo Taplin graduated McComb High School in 1999. He attended Southwest Mississippi Community College and graduated with an associate degree.
